KCET 2024 is a pen and paper test held in an offline mode as questions are of MCQ type. The duration of the exam to complete each paper will be 70 minutes and extra 10 minutes will be provided to read and fill the information in the OMR Sheet. KCET 2024 exam is a pen and paper-based test that will be held in offline mode. The applicants are required to mark their answers in the OMR sheet. There will be four options available in the sheets for all the questions and candidates will be required to shade the correct response. Candidates cannot change the answers once it is shaded. The COMEDK and KCET exam pattern are almost the same. In both, the paper applicants need to answer 60 questions within the time limit of 70 minutes. The difficulty level of the paper for both exams will be different from each other. In comparison with COMEDK, the exam rules and the difficulty level is a bit higher. No, there will be no negative marking in the KCET exam. Candidates need to know that they cannot leave any question not answered. Choose the answer you are sure about.
There will be 16 different versions and the version code that will be printed in bold on the top sheet of the question paper. In each paper the version codes will be used like from A – 1 to A – 4, B – 1 to B – 4, C – 1 to C – 4, and D – 1 to D – 4. The main reason behind using the Version codes is the candidates cannot use unfair means in the exam.
The medium of language of KCET 2024 paper is English and Kannada.
One mark will be added for each right response. No negative marking will be there for the wrong response.
NCERT publishes several important subject books published that will enhance the 10+2 level knowledge of the candidates. The student must note that the PUC 1st and 2nd-year syllabus covered in KCET is prescribed by the Karnataka State’s Department of Pre-University Education.
