JKCET 2024 Merit List
The JKCET merit list will be prepared by the JKBOPEE based on the score obtained by the applicants who appeared in the entrance exam in descending order belonging to the open merit category and reserved category separately. After qualifying for the JKCET 2024, the applicants will be considered eligible to check the merit list. The applicants who have secured higher marks will obtain a higher rank. If in any case, the number of applicants belonging to the reserved category is less than the number of vacancies available for the category, the remaining seats will be filled by the candidates belonging to the open merit category.
JKCET 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria
The tie-breaking criteria for JKCET 2024 will be adopted in the following order:
- Marks secured in the Mathematics part of the JKCET 2024
- If the tie continues then marks secured in the Physics part of the JKCET will be taken into consideration for breaking the tie
- If the tie is still unaffected, then the score secured in the Chemistry part of the JKCET will be taken into consideration for breaking the tie
- If the tie still continues then the applicants of higher age will get a higher rank on the merit list.
- Important Points to be noted
- If in any case, the number of applicants belonging to the reserved category is less than the number of vacancies available for the category, the remaining seats will be filled by the candidates belonging to the open merit category.
- The JKCET Answer keys will be declared before the result is released and the applicants will also get the option to raise objections against the answer key.
- The calculation of the rough marks can be done by the candidates based on the answer keys
- Candidates must note that they will not have any such option of challenging the result, after the declaration of the result, but they have the option to apply for re-totaling by making the payment of INR 1000.
JKCET 2024 Counselling
The qualified candidates will be called for JKCET counseling soon after the result is released. The counseling process is conducted offline for the participation of qualified and eligible candidates. All the candidates need to visit the specified venue to participate in the different phases of the counseling process.
