To get ready for the JEE Mains Chemistry exam, using NCERT books can be of great assistance. However, this alone is not enough.
The section with the highest possible score is inorganic chemistry. And in this particular part, you absolutely have to use NCERT books. In previous years, there have been questions taken straight from the NCERT. However, you should also read your textbooks and the notes you took in class.
NCERT is insufficient for both Physical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. In order to have a good command of these sections, you are going to need to put in a lot of practice. Read through the NCERT, take notes on the most relevant parts, and work through some practice problems to prepare for these sections.
You need to prepare methodically and intelligently if you want to get a score of 250 or higher on the JEE Main. You need to properly manage the time you have and conduct thorough revisions for each section. In order to have a complete understanding of the material, you need to work through two papers every day.
