JEE Main 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

In order to avoid any confusion at the JEE Main 2023 exam center, candidates are required to follow the exam day guidelines that have been released by NTA:

  • You need to make sure that you arrive at the testing location with plenty of time to spare before the exam begins.
  • In order to avoid confusion during the exam, you are required to check out the testing facility at least once before the big day.
  • Candidates are responsible for bringing everything they need to the testing location, including anything that needs to be carried there.
  • Candidates are reminded that they should not bring any items that are prohibited into the testing centers with them.
  • Candidates are prohibited from engaging in any dishonest practices related to the examination.
  • When the door to the examination room opens, you should take your seat as soon as it is available. If you are late for the examination, there is a chance that you will be absent during the announcement of some of the general instructions that will be given in the testing room.
  • After the start of the test, you will not be permitted to enter the room where the exam is being given. First, log in, and then carefully read over all of the instructions.
  • If asked, you are required to display your Admission Card. In the event that you do not have the Admit Card with you, you will not be allowed to take the examination.
  • You are not permitted to move from where you are seated or the examination room until the conclusion of the test.
  • Inside the examination room or hall, you will find a pen or pencil as well as blank paper sheets for use as scratch paper. Before leaving the examination hall or room, candidates are required to write their name and Roll Number at the top of the sheet, and they are also required to return the sheet along with their admit card to the invigilator.
  • Participants in the Aptitude Test Paper-II are required to bring their own geometry box set, pencils, erasers, and colored pencils or crayons with them to the exam.
  • In addition, you are not permitted to bring any textual material, calculators, docu pens, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches with calculator facilities, printed or written materials, scraps of paper, mobile phones, pagers, or any other devices into the examination room with you. The only exceptions to this rule are your admit card, an acceptable form of identification, and any other documents that may be requested. If any of the above items are discovered in your possession, it will be considered that you have resorted to unfair means, and as a result, your current examination will be canceled, and you will be disqualified from participating in any future examinations, and the equipment will be confiscated.

JEE Main 2023- Guidelines for Scribes

  • Candidates who are afflicted with a disability need to ensure that the online JEE Main Application Form contains accurate information regarding the nature and extent of their impairment. Any misinformation about them could hurt their chances of being chosen.
  • At the request of the candidate, a Scribe or Reader will only be made available to those candidates who have a disability that is at least 40 percent severe.
  • Candidates will have the option of either providing their own scribe/reader or submitting a request to the center superintendent for one to be provided for them.
  • After receiving a request from the candidate, the center superintendent will select the students who will serve as scribes and readers for the candidate. The only responsibility that the center superintendent has in this regard is to select a scribe for the applicant.
  • If a candidate makes a request to meet the scribe before the exam, however, they will only be able to do so one day before the exam in order to determine whether or not the scribe is suitable.
  • In addition to this, candidates who have a disability that is forty percent or higher will be granted one hour and sixty minutes of compensatory time, regardless of whether or not they make use of the facility provided by a scribe or reader.
