The dates for Aptitude Test (HBSAT) 2023 will be announced soon, the application form is available on the official website. It is a management entry test administered by Gitam University’s Hyderabad Business School for admission to the postgraduate management department.

In 2009, GITAM Hyderabad Business School under GITAM University was founded as a business school (Deemed). HBSAT 2023 is an entrance exam administered once a year at the national level. A 2 year MBA course fee of INR 7,20,600/- will be charged at the GITAM Hyderabad Business School.

HBSAT 2023 Exam Dates

Enrollment is a three-step procedure at the Hyderabad Business School. For the group discussion and personal interview applicants who qualify the written exam are called. HBSAT 2023 Application Form

The HBSAT 2023 application form is published online mode. To apply online, applicants must login on the Institute’s official website. Candidates have to fill in information like personal details, educational credentials, etc. in the online application.

How to Apply for HBSAT 2023?

There are two applicable HBSAT 2023 modes. Information of the registration in both modes are described below.

Online Mode:

  • First of all, applicants have to visit Gitam Hyderabad Business School’s official website.
  • Applicants must fill in the application form with all correct information such as their name, father’s name, date of birth, etc.
  • You can upload your scanned documents in the specified format and pay the registration fee online.
  • The applicants must apply the application form after payment of the application fee.

Offline Mode:

  • Candidates receive the registration form by downloading it from the official website in offline mode.
  • You need to fill out all the correct and full information in the application form and pay the application fee and send the registration form to the given address:

HBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Applicants seeking admission to Hyderabad Business School need to review the eligibility requirements provided by GITAM University for HBSAT 2023, as it is the governing body. The eligibility criteria usually comprise of the academic qualifications, the minimum aggregate percentage for admission and other entry tests at the national level approved for admission by the University.

  • Nationality: HBSAT can be attempted by both Indian and foreign nationals. It is only via the GMAT ranking that international and NRI applicants will have to apply.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age requirement for HBSAT applications.
  • Education: Students applying for GHBS MBA admission must have earned a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks. And must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, with a minimum of 50 percent marks, from a recognised university.

HBSAT 2023 Exam Pattern

Referring to the exam pattern of HBSAT 2023, the exam will comprise of four parts and the length of the exam is 90 minutes. Overall, HBSAT 2023 will have 100 questions. The sectional composition of each section is provided here.

  • Exam Mode: HBSAT 2023 will be conducted Online Computer-based Test (CBT) on January 2023.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Exam Duration: The time provided to finish the exam will be 90 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme: For every right answer 1 mark will be provided, there is no provision of negative marking.
  • Medium: The question paper will be in English.

HBSAT Admit Card 2023

The Hyderabad Business School Admission Test 2023 admit card will be accessible on the official portal a week before the start of the exam for the different slots. Applicants must remember that only those applicants who have successfully enrolled and paid the registration fee before the final date will be given admit cards. The admit card is a required document for entrance to the examination hall. The admit card for HSBAT 2023 will include all the essential information relating to the entrance test, like

HBSAT Result 2023

The result of the Hyderabad Business School Admission Test 2023 will be declared shortly after the start of the exam for different slots via online mode. Applicants are expected to review and download the HBSAT 2023 scorecard via the organization’s official site. On the grounds of HBSAT 2023 and other national level MBA entry tests such as MAT/GMAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/NMAT, enrollment will be completed. HBSAT 2023 is mandatory for admissions to MBA courses for applicants who have not participated in any entry examinations at the national level. Once the entry test results have been received, the admission conducting entity will shortlist the applicants on the basis of the data submitted by the applicants in their registration form for the HBSAT 2023 programme.

How to download the result of HBSAT 2023?

Students will download the HBSAT 2023 result by following the steps below:

  • Go to the Hyderabad Business School’s official website.
  • Find and Click on the Result link.
  • Submit the roll number and the birth date.
  • The result will be presented in pdf format as a scorecard.
  • For future purposes, download and print them.

The scorecard will have the following information on it-

  • Name of the applicant
  • Roll number
  • Sectional marks scored
  • Overall marks scored
  • Minimum qualifying cut off marks.

HBSAT 2023 Counselling

  • GD and PI: The eligible students in the selection process will be called for the next round, i.e. Group discussion and a personal interview at the Rudraram campus of GITAM Hyderabad Business School. The method is identical to the procedures of any B-School. Your physical presence is necessary and there will be no provision for applications to be made via Skype.
  • Final Result: The applicant’s final selection will be based on the marks acquired in HBSAT 2023, group debate, and personal interview.
  • Counseling: After the results are announced, applicants who clear the HBSAT 2023 will be called for the counseling process. Applicants would be made aware of the date of the counseling via email.
  • It is compulsory that applicants show before the Admission Committee in person for physical counseling for admission. In this regard, no relaxation of any sort is permissible.
  • At the time of counseling, the applicant must carry the following original documents (to be taken back by the applicant after verification) along with two sets of approved photocopies:
    • Class 10th mark sheet,
    • Address Proof,
    • 12th standard mark sheet,
    • Valid Score of MAT/ GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ NMAT,
    • Pre-final Year Mark sheets (of all semesters).
  • All the other documents should be submitted during the orientation phase and then appear before the Document Verification Committee for document verification.
  • Applicants’ seats shall be assigned to the Admission Committee in order of merit, subject to their availability, and applicants shall be required to deposit fees on the spot, either by Demand Draft, Credit/ Debit Card or in cash.
  • The seat shall be considered to be allocated only upon the payment of the fee. If the applicant fails to pay the fee on the spot, the admission shall be forfeited and the applicant next on the list of merits shall be given a seat.

GITAM HBS has an excellent record of placement for an MBA. In 2019, 96 percent of applicants were placed in well-reputed organizations and 16.05 Lakh was the highest package. Similarly, the maximum package was 12.00 Lakhs in the year 2018 and about 90% of applicants were placed. HBSAT 2023 FAQs

After the declaration of results, the shortlisted candidates would have to go through the GD/PI process for final selection.

The candidate’s name, the roll number, the date and time of the test and the information of the examination centre will be included in the admit card.

In total, there are six centers, which can be checked above. There can however be a shift in the number of exam centres, depending on the authorities.

Although the dates have not been published, the admit card is normally available a week before the examination begins.

Overall, during the exam, there will be 100 questions.

There will be four parts overall: English language, numerical ability, reasoning, intelligence and data interpretation.

The application fee is Rs. 700 for filling out the application form.

Applicants must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in order to fill the HBSAT 2023 form. A minimum of three years of education is compulsory after 12th grade. Any bachelor’s program of less than 3 years is not acceptable.
