GCET Result 2024: The result for the Goa CET 2024 will be declared online by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa in June 2024. The result of GCET 2024 will be available in a PDF format including details such as the roll number of the qualified GCET candidates and their scores subject-wise.
In order to know the GCET result 2024, candidates have to click on the result link from the official website or the one available below. The GCET 2024 result only contains the candidates’ roll numbers and not their names.
Candidates have to fill out the GCET 2024 application form, in order to take admission via the GCET 2024 exam. Applicants can get the admission forms easily on the official website. In accordance with the course they want themselves to be enrolled in, the candidates can fill out the admission form.
GCET is a state-level entrance exam administered by the Technical Education Directorate, Goa. the main aim of the examination is to provide admission in various courses related to Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Courses. Candidates can get admitted to State Colleges via the state colleges of Goa. this article will provide detailed information regarding the GCET counseling 2024.

Step 1: Go to dte.goa.gov.in, i.e. the official website of GCET
Step 2: Click on the link ‘GCET Results Declared’.
Step 3: The result will be available in a pdf format. The names of all the qualified candidates will be included in that pdf file.
Step 4: The result will include, the candidate’s Name, Roll Number Category, Marks Scored in each subject, and Rank will be mentioned.
Step 5: All the qualified candidates must download and take out a print of the scorecard as it will be required during the counseling process.
An applicant’s performance in GCET 2024 is reflected on the GCET 2024 Score Card. The scorecard consists of the following details. It is important for the candidates to check all the information on the result carefully.

In case the same score is obtained by two or more candidates, followed by a similar rank, the interest merit will be incorporated to resolve the tie, This includes the following:
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa will declare the provisional merit list for GCET 2024. All those applicants who have appeared for the GCET 2024 exam will be provided access to the GCET 2024 provisional merit list, once it is published on the official website of DTE-Goa. This is followed by the release of the final merit list of GCET 2024, which is prepared on the basis of the GCET 2024 cut-off score.
The GCET provisional merit list will include the applicant’s ranks in GCET besides the marks scored in the class 12 board examination. In case of any issue, the applicants must report to the concerned authorities within 24 hours.
The authorities who are in charge will prepare the merit lists to get admitted to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), AHS, B.V.Sc & A.H, and Nursing. This is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in NEET 2024. The Score Card/All India Rank/Percentile secured in NEET-UG as issued by NTA will be taken into consideration.
Based upon the scores secured by the applicants in Mathematics and Physics, the merit list will be prepared. In the case of a tie, candidates containing higher marks in Mathematics will be preferred, followed by which the marks in Chemistry will be considered.
If the candidates secure similar marks in Chemistry as well, those with higher marks in Physics and Mathematics at the intermediate level/ Qualifying Examination will be considered. Furthermore, if the tie still continues, students senior by age will be given the advantage.
Based on the marks secured in Physics and Chemistry, the merit list will be prepared for the course of Pharmacy. If there is a tie, students with greater scores in Chemistry will be given consideration.
If the tie continues to persist, a candidate with a greater aggregate score in Physics and Chemistry at the intermediate level will be given weightage in the selection process. Those who secure greater marks in Chemistry will be placed higher on Merit List. In the end, the tie will be broken based on the applicant’s age. Those with an earlier date of birth will be placed higher in order.
After the exam, the Provisional Merit List will be declared. The Merit List for Bachelor in Architecture will be prepared by considering the aggregate marks in the Qualifying Examination and marks obtained in NATA 2024. Both the scores will be taken into consideration with 50% marks each in the ratio of 1:1. If there is a tie, students with more NATA scores will be given preference. Followed by this, applicants with high marks in Mathematics will be placed higher on Merit.
Minimum scores to be obtained by the applicants seeking admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the universities and colleges in Goa are determined by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa.

No, a 12th dropout candidate appears for GCET 2024 exam. An applicant must have passed the 12th standard from Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination to appear for the exam.
Candidates can go to the Goa CET official website i.e. dte.goa.gov.in, then log in to the website with the help of the GCET enrollment number. Click on the submit button and wait for the result to appear. The result will appear in pdf form. The candidate can either download the result or take out a print of it.
GCET 2024 result will include details such as the candidate’s roll number and obtained marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
After the conclusion of the exam, the DTE Goa will release the GCET 2024 Answer Key on the official website. Candidates will be able to view and can also take out a print of it by visiting the official website.
GCET results will be available on the official website of DTE Goa in a downloadable pdf format. Students can easily download the pdf file of their results. The exam authority will also release a merit list for admissions to various courses.
The GCET score is valid for a span of one year. 2024 session will be valid for admission in the 2024-25 academic year in colleges accepting scores.
