CUSAT is a Cochin University Of Science And Technology that conducts exam at a university level. The Cochin University conducts three exams Common Admission Test (CAT), the Departmental Admission Test (DAT) exam and Lateral Entry Test (LET). CUSAT is a government-affiliated autonomous university.

CUSAT CAT 2022 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should ensure that either they are eligible for the exam or not before applying. Every student must check their eligibility criteria for various courses separately.

The detailed eligibility criteria for the applicants have given below.

  • The candidates of our nation and also from Foreign can apply for this exam.
  • Every student belonging to  Kerala state scheduled tribe and scheduled caste are required to get the minimum aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • For M.Tech courses, 5 % relaxation will be given to the students in the qualifying exam who have the best gate score.

For B.Tech Course:

  • The student should pass the higher secondary education exam (12th) or an equivalent exam from the institute.
  • He/she should have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in mathematics.

For B.Tech Instrumental Technology:

  • The student must pass the higher secondary education exam from the recognized board.
  • He/she should score a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Maths and Chemistry.
  • The SEBS candidates must have a minimum 50% aggregate in the maths.

B.Tech Marine Engineering:

  • The student should pass the higher secondary exam or any equivalent exam with English subject.
  • He/she should obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate in maths.

Five-Year Integrated Course M.SC – Photonics:

  • He/she should pass higher secondary education from the Kerala state with subjects of PCM.
  • Every student should pass with minimum 50% aggregate in all PCM subjects together.

B.B.A LLB & B.Com LLB:

  • The candidate should complete higher secondary education (10+2) with minimum 55% aggregate in Humanities/Arts stream, or they should pass with a minimum of 60% in the science stream.
  • These applicants should be below the age of 20 years.

For Three Year LLB Course:

  • Every student should have passed bachelors degree with the 40% aggregate in any stream to apply for the exam.

For MBA Course:

  • The aspirant should pass a bachelors degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.
  • The university will accept the valid scores of CMAT and MAT to admit the students.

For MCA Course:

  • The students who have passed the graduation course with maths in science stream are eligible for this exam.
  • Moreover, the students who have completed the graduation course in Electronics/IT/Technology/Computer Science/Applications with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks can apply for this exam.

For LLM Course:

  • He/she should pass with a bachelor’s degree in law stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.

For M.Tech Course:

  • The applicant must pass a B.Tech or equivalent degree with the valid gate score.
  • He/she should have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from the university.

M.Voc. In Mobile Phone Application Development:

  • Aspirants must complete B.Tech course in IT/Electronics/Computer science with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from the university.

OR

  • Aspirants should pass M.SC/MCA course in computer science stream with the first class.

OR

  • He/she should pass B.Voc degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

M.Voc Degree In Technology And Management:

  • Every aspirant should have complete B.Tech engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate.

OR

  • He/she should pass the MBA course with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
