Detailed CUCET 2024 Exam Pattern for UI and PG Programmes
- The test is of the objective type that is OMR-based.
- There are two parts to the paper such that: Part: General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude, Analytical Skills, and Language. There will be a total of 25 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in Part A. Part B comprises Domain Knowledge; There will be three to five sections in this part. There will be 25 questions assigned to each section. The applicants need to attempt any of the three sections that have a total of 75 questions.
- There will be a single paper consisting of 100 Multiple Choice Questions for the applicants applying for MBA/LL.B/MCA/integrated courses or other general courses. The questions will cover topics from the subjects such as English Language, Reasoning, Analytical Skills, General Awareness, and Data Interpretations/Numerical Ability
- The applicants must mark the right response on the given OMR sheet. And if the applicants have selected more than one answer on the OMR sheet for any specific question then it will be considered as a wrong answer along with the negative marking.
- There will be negative marking in CUCET 2024 for UI and PG courses. 1 mark will be assigned to the applicants for the correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted for the wrong answer
- The questions that are left unanswered will not be taken into consideration for the final merit list.
- The exam duration will be of two hours for CUCET 2024 for UI and PG courses.

The applicants applying for RP Programmes can get the complete information about the exam pattern in the following points:
- The test is a Computer Based Test (CBT) that will be held in online mode.
- There will be two parts in the exam: Part A: General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude, Language, Research Methodology, and Analytical Skills. There will be a total of 50 MCQs in this part. Part B will consist of Domain Knowledge that has a total of 50 MCQs.
- The candidate needs to mark one right response by selecting the circle that will appear on the screen.
- CUCET 2024 for RP courses will have no negative marking.
- There will be a total of two hours of time duration allotted for CUCET 2024 for RP courses.
CUCET Exam Pattern 2024 Marking Scheme
There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks as the negative marking for each incorrect answer. 1 mark will be assigned to the applicants for every correct answer. The unanswered or unattempted questions will not be taken into the consideration. Thus, the maximum marks of combining both the papers will be 100 marks and -25 considered for the minimum marks.
