CSSET Eligibility Criteria
There are some eligibility criteria by the university set up for the candidates, which has to be fulfilled by them in order to appear in Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test 2024.
The eligible candidates will be able to fill the application form of CSSET.

Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have completed Shastri or B.A. (With Sanskrit) in the 10+2+3 Scheme and/or M.A. (Sanskrit) from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks in the qualifying examination.
Age Limit:
- Candidates applying for CSSET must have completed the age of 20 as on October 1, 2024. There is no age relaxation.

The Combined Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed) Entrance Test will be divided into two parts.
One is Part A and another one is Part B. The test will be of 2 .5Hours duration.

CSSET 2024 Application Form

Application Fee: The application fee for all the students is Rs. 1200/- and mode of transaction is paid only through the Online method by using Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking.

CSSET Result
Those students who appeared in the examination must secure at least 35% marks separately in proficiency in Sanskrit language and Sanskrit Literature i.e. in the First and fourth sections of Part A and also in Sanskrit language writing capability i.e. part B is the must.
Minimum 20% marks in each remaining section (Second & third of part A).
Only students who qualified for Part A will qualify for evaluation of Part B.
CSSET 2024 Counselling
Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test 2024 Counselling will be conducted in all three centers.
The qualified candidates need to appear in person for counseling and will be required to produce the below-mentioned documents for verification.
Documents Required for CSSET 2024 Counselling
- Permanent Residence of Tripura Certificate (PRTC)
- Admit Card CSSET
- Mark Sheet of Class XII
- Attested copies of the mark sheet of Class XII has to be submitted
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Qualifying exam degree/mark sheet
- Scorecard CSSET 2024
Candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment on the basis of the CSSET 2024 Merit List. No separate letters will be issued.
The cut-off for CSSET is not fixed and may vary from previous years. It depends on the following factors:
- Seats available in the course for which admission is sought
- The difficulty level if the entrance exam
- The cutoff trends of previous years
- Perform in the entrance exam (if the number of candidates does well in the exam, it will push the cutoff rank higher and vice versa)
The counseling is tentatively scheduled for the last week of June/first week of July 2024. Candidates will have to check the website for counseling schedules.
Aspirants who will cross the cut-off marks will be listed in the Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test 2024 Merit List.
The Merit List will be prepared based on the marks scored in accordance with their ranks.
The highest scorer will get ranked 1 on the merit list and the candidate with marks equal to the cut-off will be placed at the bottom of the list.
