BCECE eligibility criteria: The BCECE exam is a Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam released by the state board. It is a state-level exam conducted by the BCECE board. The board conduct exam for the aspirants to provide admissions in technology, medical, engineering, and agriculture courses.

BCECE 2024 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

We are providing the eligibility here for applying for the Bihar entrance exam. Candidates should go through eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Nationality:

• The candidate should be the nationality of Indian.
• The aspirant should belong to the state of Bihar.
• The parents of student aspirants must also be permanent residents of Bihar.
• If the candidate’s parents belong to other states but are employees of the government in the Bihar state.

Age:

• Students should complete seventeen years of age for medical courses.
• No age limit is needed for engineering and pharmacy courses.
• Students should have a minimum of 16 years of age for agriculture courses.

For Engineering And Technology Course

• Exam Qualification: The aspirant should pass higher secondary education or an equivalent exam from a recognized board.
• Subjects: He/she should pass the exam in compulsory subjects of physics and maths. An elective subject is taken from chemistry and biology. They should secure a minimum 45% aggregate for the general category.
• Appearing candidates in qualifying tests also apply for this exam.

For Pharmacy Course

• Exam Qualification: He/she should pass an intermediate or equivalent test from a recognized board.
• Subjects: Must pass the qualifying exam with physics, and chemistry as compulsory subjects. The elective subject should take from mathematics and biology.
• He/she should score a minimum of 45% aggregate for the general category.
• Appearing candidates for the qualifying exams also apply for this exam.
