The BCECE 2022 stands for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2022 and it is a state-level entrance exam. BCECE 2022 Application Form

Applicants of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board can easily access the BCECE application form from the BCECE Board’s official website. How To Apply for BCECE 2022?

The application form for BCECE 2022 will be released tentatively in February 2022 for the session 2022-22 by the concerned authority in online mode. Applicants must provide personal, academic, and other information in order to complete the form. The recent passport size photograph must be uploaded in the prescribed format, or the application will be rejected. To fill out the form, candidates must follow a specific procedure. Step 1: Registration

  • First of all, open the official “BCECE 2022” website i.e bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  • Now applicants have to find and then click on the link of “Online Application Portal of BCECE-2022”
  • Now find and then click on the link to “Registered candidate Login”.
  • You the applicant is new then he/ she has to click on “New Registration” 
  • Fill in the active mobile number and the valid email id. All the details regarding the registration will be transferred to the applicant’s registered email & mobile no. Also to verify the details, an Activation code will be sent to the email & mobile no. In order to proceed next, applicants will have to provide this activation code to“Activate your account. 
  • Now fill in the “Username” and “ Activation Code” and then click the button “submit”.
  • Lastly, applicants will have to “Sign In” by providing “Email Id” & “Password”.

Step 2: Fill The Personal Details 

Applicants must sign in and fill out the form with the information required. After you’ve entered all of your information, click “save and continue.”

Step 3: Upload The Documents

The applicants’s passport size photo & signature should be uploaded in the format prescribed by the authority. Such as:

  • The photograph should be recent and its size should not exceed 100 KB.
  • The signature should be handwritten and its size should not exceed 100 KB.

Now click on the “Save & Continue” to proceed next.

Step 4: Enter Educational Details 

Enter information about your education, such as your qualifying exam, board, and marks/grades. The information provided must be accurate. After you’ve finished filling out the form, click “Save and Continue.”

Step 5: Preview The Application Form 

Check the information you’ve provided in the form. If applicants notice any incorrect information, they must correct it immediately by selecting “Back to edit.” After making the necessary corrections, applicants must complete the final submission by clicking on “Declaration” and then “Confirm and Submit.”

Step 6: Pay The BCECE Application Fee

The BCECE application fee paid in both mode i.e. Online & Offliine as well.

  • Offline Mode: Applicants will have to download NEFT e-Challan and then make the payment using cash in any nearest bank. 
  • Online Mode: Applicants will have to pay the application fee via credit /debit card/net banking/. In the online mode of payment, the processing fees will be charged.

BCECE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the requirements for taking the BCECE entrance exam. Students should carefully read all of the points to determine whether they are eligible to take the BCECE 2022 entrance examination. There are three aspects to the BCECE eligibility criteria: Domicile, Qualification, & Other eligibility. Before filling out the application form, students must fulfill to meet the criteria as listed below.

General Eligibility:

  • Domicile:  Applicants should be Indian citizens having residency in the Bihar state.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit prescribed to appear for the BCECE Exam for Engineering or Pharmacy programs. However, For Health Sciences, applicants must be 17 years old by December 2022, and for the Agriculture course, they must be 16 years old by August 2022.
  • Medical: Applicants who have been allowed for admission must undergo a medical examination.
  • Appearing Students:  Applicants who are giving the final year of the qualifying exam are likely eligible to apply, but they must present proof of their qualification at the time of counseling or admission.

Qualifying Eligibility:

  • For Engineering Courses: Applicants must have acquired a minimum of 45 % marks (40 % for the SC & ST applicants) at the 10+2 level, with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects and one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a vocational subject (Technical).
  • For Pharmacy Courses: Applicants must have acquired class 12th grade with a minimum of 45 % (40 percent for the SC & ST applicants) with Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects, as well as one of the subjects from Mathematics or Biology.

BCECE 2022 Exam Pattern

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board will set the Exam Pattern of BCECE 2022. Bihar CECE is a state-level combined entrance exam for a variety of fields such as Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy. Some tips are given below which the candidates must follow in order to score good marks in this examination:

Study Rigorously: The aspiring applicants should read Chemistry, Physics, Biology/ Mathematics, and Agriculture in-depth. Students should focus more on class 11 & 12th NCERT standard curriculum.

Proper Study Plan: Applicants must concentrate on the NCERT curriculum to secure good marks in the BCECE 2022. They should clear their doubts about each subject without wasting their time.

Time management: Carefully manage your schedule. Dedicate the same time for each subject for the exam. It takes 9-10 hours of regular study time.

BCECE 2022 Admit Card

After the application process has been successfully completed, the applicants can download the admit card for BCECE 2022. Tentatively, in the 3rd week of April 2022, it will be available for download in online mode. All of the information on the admit card should be double-checked by students before the exam, and any errors should be reported to officials before the exam. Students must enter the login information provided at the time of online registration in order to download it. Applicants must follow all the mentioned instructions on exam day. BCECE Answer Key 2022

The answer key of the BCECE contains the correct answers to the exam’s questions. The conducting body publishes the answer key in an online format after the exam is completed.   • Now applicants will have to click on the provided link named ‘Download Rank Card of BCECE-2022’

  • Applicants will have to enter the log-in credentials such as Roll No & Date of Birth.
  • After entering the details, the result f the BCECE will appear on the monitor screen.

Tie-Breaking Guidelines for BCECE 2022 Result

In case, if 2 or more applicants score the same marks in BCECE 2022, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rules in the following order:

  • The person who scored higher in Mathematics will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie still persists, the one with the higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
  • If the tie still persists, then the applicants with the elder in age will be preferred first.

BCECE 2022 Merit list

The BCECE 2022 merit list is determined by the applicants’ performance in the examination. In addition, the preparation of the merit list is subject to the availability of seats in various Pharmacy, Health Science, & Agriculture courses. As a result, the merit list is based on Merit-cum-seat-availability.

BCECE 2022 CutOff

The cut-off mark is the minimum mark that applicants must have to achieve in order to be considered for admission. As a result, applicants must achieve a score greater than or equal to the cutoff. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will announce the cut-off. Applicants should check the course-specific cutoffs. BCECE Cut off 2022 is determined by a number of factors including the number of applicants who appeared in the exam, availability of seats, difficulty level, etc.

BCECE 2022 Counselling

Applicants who qualify for the exam will be eligible to participate in the process of counseling. Applicants will be invited for the BCECE 2022 Counseling based on their rank. Applicants will be assigned seats based on the choices they have made and their ranking. Applicants must bring documents related to their personal & educational information with them while visiting the center of reporting.

Seats will be assigned solely based on merit and availability of seats. Counseling for the BCECE will be done in multiple stages. As a result, applicants should continue to apply for various options and keep themselves informed about the counseling process. ‘Depending on the needs, and any no. of counseling rounds can be conducted.

BCECE Counselling Procedure

BCECE qualified candidates will be able to participate in BCECE counseling for seat allocation to various government, semi-government, and privately funded colleges/institutions for courses such as Health Science, Pharmacy, and Agricultural. Applicants must register for counseling by visiting the official website and by clicking on the link provided. The following points should be kept in mind when it comes to BCECE Counseling:

  • Applicants will have to register for the counseling after the declaration of the BCECE result.
  • The counseling process will be done online and before the last date, applicants will have to fill the options & have to lock the seats as well.
  • Applicants will have to pay the fee of counseling via challan.

Step 1- Registration

Only registered and qualified applicants will be called for BCECE Counseling. The steps below will be used as a guide for registering for BCECE.

  • Visit the BCECE Board’s official website.
  • Now applicants will have to click on the “Apply for counseling” link.
  • Applicants will have to enter contact/ communication information on the form.

Step 2- Choice Filling

Applicants will have to fill out their choices & have to lock seats by visiting the BCECE’s official website. Once they logged in, by using BCECE Roll Number & Password generated in the last step, applicants will have the following details:

Step 3- Provisional Seat Allotment

  • Once the applicant complete the choice filling process, they will have to access the letter of seat allotment (provisional) by downloading and by taking hard copy of it.
  • Applicants must have to bring it to the assigned BCECE center of counseling for verification, whenever required to do so.
  • During the process of counseling, it is mandatory to bring the letter for the provisional seat allocation to ensure that the desired seat is allocated & assigned.

Step 4- Handwriting Verification

Applicants’ handwriting is compared to the text written on their OMR sheets and will be verified. This is a standard procedure that involves collecting a sample of the applicant’s handwriting. It is also compared to texts found on their OMR sheets.

Step 5- Seat Allotment

Applicants who pass the handwriting verification can check their allotment status by log- in to the official website. A new link called “FINAL SEAT ALLOTMENT” will be available to applicants.

Applicants can access their letter of final seat allotment, which will be needed during counseling. For document verification & fee payment, applicants must report to the location specified in the Provisional Allotment Letter.

Step 6- Documents Verification

Applicants who have received the final allotment letter must need to verify all the documents and also will have to pay the fees for admission to the colleges to which they have been assigned. The applicant who fails to submit any of the required documents can not take part in the admission process. At the allotted center of BCECE Counseling, the admissions process will be continued and completed.
