How To Apply for BCECE 2022?
The application form for BCECE 2022 will be released tentatively in February 2022 for the session 2022-22 by the concerned authority in online mode. Applicants must provide personal, academic, and other information in order to complete the form. The recent passport size photograph must be uploaded in the prescribed format, or the application will be rejected. To fill out the form, candidates must follow a specific procedure. Step 1: Registration
- First of all, open the official “BCECE 2022” website i.e bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
- Now applicants have to find and then click on the link of “Online Application Portal of BCECE-2022”
- Now find and then click on the link to “Registered candidate Login”.
- You the applicant is new then he/ she has to click on “New Registration”
- Fill in the active mobile number and the valid email id. All the details regarding the registration will be transferred to the applicant’s registered email & mobile no. Also to verify the details, an Activation code will be sent to the email & mobile no. In order to proceed next, applicants will have to provide this activation code to“Activate your account.

Step 2: Fill The Personal Details

Step 3: Upload The Documents
The applicants’s passport size photo & signature should be uploaded in the format prescribed by the authority. Such as:
- The photograph should be recent and its size should not exceed 100 KB.

- Domicile: Applicants should be Indian citizens having residency in the Bihar state.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit prescribed to appear for the BCECE Exam for Engineering or Pharmacy programs. However, For Health Sciences, applicants must be 17 years old by December 2022, and for the Agriculture course, they must be 16 years old by August 2022.
- Medical: Applicants who have been allowed for admission must undergo a medical examination.
- Appearing Students: Applicants who are giving the final year of the qualifying exam are likely eligible to apply, but they must present proof of their qualification at the time of counseling or admission.
Qualifying Eligibility:
- For Engineering Courses: Applicants must have acquired a minimum of 45 % marks (40 % for the SC & ST applicants) at the 10+2 level, with Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects and one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a vocational subject (Technical).
- For Pharmacy Courses: Applicants must have acquired class 12th grade with a minimum of 45 % (40 percent for the SC & ST applicants) with Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects, as well as one of the subjects from Mathematics or Biology.

After the application process has been successfully completed, the applicants can download the admit card for BCECE 2022. Tentatively, in the 3rd week of April 2022, it will be available for download in online mode. Tie-Breaking Guidelines for BCECE 2022 Result
In case, if 2 or more applicants score the same marks in BCECE 2022, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rules in the following order:
- The person who scored higher in Mathematics will be ranked higher.
- If the tie still persists, the one with the higher marks in Physics will be ranked higher.
- If the tie still persists, then the applicants with the elder in age will be preferred first.

Applicants who qualify for the exam will be eligible to participate in the process of counseling. Applicants will be invited for the BCECE 2022 Counseling based on their rank. Applicants will be assigned seats based on the choices they have made and their ranking. Seats will be assigned solely based on merit and availability of seats. Counseling for the BCECE will be done in multiple stages. BCECE Counselling Procedure
BCECE qualified candidates will be able to participate in BCECE counseling for seat allocation to various government, semi-government, and privately funded colleges/institutions for courses such as Health Science, Pharmacy, and Agricultural. Applicants must register for counseling by visiting the official website and by clicking on the link provided. The following points should be kept in mind when it comes to BCECE Counseling:
- Applicants will have to register for the counseling after the declaration of the BCECE result.
- The counseling process will be done online and before the last date, applicants will have to fill the options & have to lock the seats as well.

Step 3- Provisional Seat Allotment
- Once the applicant complete the choice filling process, they will have to access the letter of seat allotment (provisional) by downloading and by taking hard copy of it.
- Applicants must have to bring it to the assigned BCECE center of counseling for verification, whenever required to do so.
- During the process of counseling, it is mandatory to bring the letter for the provisional seat allocation to ensure that the desired seat is allocated & assigned.
Step 4- Handwriting Verification
Applicants’ handwriting is compared to the text written on their OMR sheets and will be verified. This is a standard procedure that involves collecting a sample of the applicant’s handwriting. It is also compared to texts found on their OMR sheets.
Step 5- Seat Allotment
Applicants who pass the handwriting verification can check their allotment status by log- in to the official website. A new link called “FINAL SEAT ALLOTMENT” will be available to applicants.
Applicants can access their letter of final seat allotment, which will be needed during counseling. For document verification & fee payment, applicants must report to the location specified in the Provisional Allotment Letter.
Step 6- Documents Verification
Applicants who have received the final allotment letter must need to verify all the documents and also will have to pay the fees for admission to the colleges to which they have been assigned. The applicant who fails to submit any of the required documents can not take part in the admission process. At the allotted center of BCECE Counseling, the admissions process will be continued and completed.

Is there any negative marking in BCECE?
Yes, 1 mark will be subtracted for each wrong response.

No, through the BCECE entrance exam you can not get admission into the MBBS because to pursue MBBS, applicants will have to clear NEET UG.

Are Mathematics and Biology compulsory subjects required to write BCECE Exam?
Mathematics is required for engineering courses, whereas biology is required for pharmacy courses. Thus, mathematics is not compulsory for pharmacy students and biology is not compulsory for engineering students.
