AP PGECET Application Form 2023

The application form of the AP PGECET 2023 will be available at sche.ap.gov.in/PGECET by Andhra University. The application procedure will be completed in four stages: Fee payment, Checking payment status, Filling application form, and Printing the application form. Before submitting an application, candidates should read all the required AP PGECET eligibility requirements. Application fees for filling out the AP PGECET application form will be paid online or through one of the state’s designated AP online helpline centres. After the AP PGECET application window has closed, the authorities will provide a facility of correction window to made corrections in the application form.

Steps to Fill AP PGECET Application Form 2023

Step 1 – Payment of Application Fees

  • First of all, applicants will have to AP PGECET application fee.
  • Without paying the application fee, you will not be able to submit the application, and also it will not be considered as completed.
  • Application fees for filling out the AP PGECET application form will be paid online by using Debit/ Credit card/ Net Banking or through one of the state’s designated AP online helpline centers.
  • If the payment will be done online then you should keep the transaction ID safe.

Step 2 – Registration

After making the payment of the application fees, applicants will need to register for PGECET 2023. To login & to fill out the application form of the AP PGECET, you must provide the following information:

Step 4 – Uploading of Scanned Documents

Declaration: Post filling all the details, select the button next to the statement of the declaration. It states that all of the details provided in the application form are true and correct to the best of your knowledge. This is done in order to make a candidate accountable for the information he or she provided.

Step 5 – Submission of AP PGECET Application Form 2023

  • Lastly, the applicants will have to submit the filled-in application form.
  • After submitting the form an application no. will be produced that the applicant has to be kept safe for the near future references.
  • Applicants will have to take a printout of the submitted application form. It has to be carried out to the allotted test center along with the AP PGECET hall ticket to be submitted to the invigilator.

NOTE: Applicants who wish to take more than 1 test paper shall have to mention the name of all the desired test papers in the single application form of the AP PGECET.

AP PGECET 2023 Form Correction

Applicants will be given the opportunity to correct the wrong details provided in the AP PGECET application form and will be given a certain amount of time to do so. Any changes to the application form after the deadline will not be counted. Form correction facility is a single-time opportunity for applicants to fix any errors that have occurred during the application process. Changes can be made in sections such as:

  • Candidate’s Signature
  • Candidate’s photograph

AP PGECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The exam conducting authorities have set some criteria for applicants to meet in order to qualify for the AP PGECET exam. Age Limit, Nationality, Reservation, etc are all requirements to consider for eligibility. To appear for the exam, applicants must ensure that they meet all of the eligibility requirements. The exam conducting authority has the power to cancel a candidate’s application if they do not meet any of the eligibility requirements.   • Nationality: The nationality of the applicants must be Indian.

  • Qualification: Applicants must have acquired a B.Tech or B.Pharma degree or equivalent with a minimum of  50% marks for the general category (45% for the reserved category) from any recognized university.

  • Appearing Candidates: Final year applicants in the qualifying degree will also be considered to be eligible.
  • Score Card: Applicants who have valid GPAT & GATE scorecards will also be eligible to apply.

AP PGECET Exam Pattern 2023

Details regarding the exam pattern of the AP PGECET such as the Exam mode, Total number of questions, Duration of the test, Marking scheme, etc of the exam pattern should be known to candidates. AP PGECET is a two-hour online exam conducted by the authorities. A total of 120 questions of objective type i.e. multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be there in the exam. The high or low score in an examination depends entirely on the preparation & effort put in the preparation by the applicants. Below are some important aspects to prepare better for the Andhra Pradesh PGECET.

  • Before beginning the preparation, applicants should familiarise themselves with the syllabus of the test they are going to appear for. The AP PGECET Syllabus can be downloaded directly from its official website i.e. sche.ap.gov.in.
  • Applicants should create a study schedule in which each important topic is assigned with a specific study time slot. In addition, before the last few days of the exam, make sure to leave enough time for revisions. Tie Breaker Criteria

  • A tiebreaker is used when two or more applicants scored the same mark in the AP PGECET 2023 exam. Applicants who scored higher in their qualifying degree examination will be given preference over the other applicant/s.
  • .If applicants scored the same in their qualifying degree examination, the tie will be broken by giving preference to those who are older in age.
  • If the age of both the applicants is the same, the tie will be broken by drawing lots in the AP PGECET Merit List.

AP PGECET 2023 Cut Off

After the result is released, the Cutoff of the AP PGECET 2023 will be declared. Applicants who took this exam will able to view & access their results online. The cutoff mark is the minimum score required for admission to the desired course. Applicants will be called for the counseling session on the basis of their cut-off scores. The rank card of the AP PGECET 2023 is expected to be released tentatively in the 3rd week of October. Soon after the AP PGECET result 2023 is announced, the rank card will be made available online. AP PGECET 2023 Counselling

After the announcement of the results of the AP PGECET, applicants who have been shortlisted will be called to take part in the process of counseling. Counseling for GATE & GPAT applicants will be administered separately from that for AP PGECET 2023 applicants. Payment of counseling fees, reporting to the allotted centers, document verification, option filling, & seat allotment is all part of the AP PGECET 2023 counseling process.

AP PGECET Counselling Process


Applicants who have been shortlisted should go to the official website of AP PGECET to register themselves for the counseling process. All applicants in the General Category have to pay Rs. 600, while those in the Reserved Category have to pay Rs. 300. The payment will be made online using a Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking.

Document Verification

The next procedure is the verification of documents, which requires all applicants to go to the corresponding help center. After reporting at the help center, each applicant must submit his or her Rank Card to the appropriate official, who will check the documents that the student has carried at the help center. The list of required documents is as follows:

Following the verification, the applicants will be given a registration ID and will be required to create a strong password. They can log in using provided credentials, and then the One Time Password will be sent to them on their registered mobile number. Post entering the OTP, applicants can select the colleges by clicking on the button next to the particular colleges & course name.

Seat Allotment

Seat allotment will be done on the choices made by the applicants. However, the authority will take into account factors such as merit and seat availability. Even after you’ve been assigned a seat, you can change/ modify or freeze it. This will be the last chance for applicants to change their mind about the selected course or college they have chosen. After a candidate assigned a seat, he or she must bring the allotment order to report to the selected college. If you do not report, you will be disqualified.

What will be the order of preference for AP PGECET admissions?

Applicants who have qualified and have a valid GATE/ GPAT scorecard will be given first preference and then the remaining seats will be fulfilled by the applicants who have qualified for the AP PGECET 2023.
