AKTU/UPTU 2024 Eligibility Criteria

AKTU/UPTU 2024 Eligibility Criteria Lateral Entries:
B.Tech Lateral Entry
- The candidate should have completed a 3-year Diploma course from a recognized institute located in Uttar Pradesh.
- The applicant needs to have a minimum 45% (For General) or 40% (For Sc/ST) are eligible.
OR
- The candidate parents should have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicants should have passed 3 years Diploma with minimum 45% marks (For general) or 40% (for SC/ST)
The candidates passed from any university recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education from any branch of Diploma (exceptance of Agriculture, Pharmacy and Architecture) are eligible for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering affiliated to UPTU/AKTU.
B.Tech (Agriculture) Lateral Entry
- The candidate should have passed 3 years Diploma from an Institution located in Uttar Pradesh.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 45% (for general) or 40% (for SC/ST)
OR
- The candidate parents having domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- The candidate should have a 3 years Diploma in Agriculture.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 45% (for general) or 40% (for SC/ST).
The candidates passed from any university recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education will be eligible for admission to the second year of Agriculture branch in UPTU/AKTU.
B.Sc Applicant
The candidate should have passed with 3 years B.Sc degree.
The candidate should have passed 12th standard with mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized University, securing minimum 45% marks (for general) or 40% (for SC/ST) in aggregate are also eligible for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering affiliated to UPTU/AKTU.
B.Pharm
Applicants who have passed 2 or 3 years Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution located in Uttar Pradesh with minimum 45% marks (For general) or 40% (for SC/ST).
OR
- The candidate parents having domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
- The candidate should have passed 2 or 3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 45% marks (for general) or 40% (for SC/ST) recognized by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education are eligible for admission to the second year of B.Pharm degree in UPTU/AKTU.
MCA Lateral Entry
- For Admission to 2nd year of MCA course in any institution affiliated to UPTU/AKTU.
- The candidate must have completed Bachelors degree course of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) from any recognized University in India or its equivalent recognized by A.I.U
- The candidate should have secured minimum 50% (for General) or 45% (for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
- The candidate should have cleared Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level to be eligible for the entrance examination.
