National Law University, Delhi will release the AILET 2023 application on January 2023. AILET 2023 (All India Law Entrance Test) is an Examination for the entrance to National Law University, Delhi, which is the topmost Law University in India. Students seeking admission to India’s topmost university for integrated courses like B.A., LL.B. L.L.M, Ph.D. in Delhi, this examination is only for you.

AILET provides students with their one-time offer to appear in the examination and get the top college of Delhi.

The AILET 2023 application process is currently open. On September 7, the National Law University of Delhi made the application form available on the site’s main page, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The deadline for AILET 2023 applications is November 15, 2022.

AILET 2023 Application Process

This section will enable an applicant to register for AILET 2023 step by step. The registration steps for the examination are listed below:

  • The registration form AILET 2023 will be available online.
  • From the first week of January 2023, applicants can submit the application form.
  • It will be the first week in April 2023 when the application process will be finished.
  • While doing the registration, applicants must submit a valid/working email ID & telephone number to be used further on the registration form.
  • Applicants are also required to upload a photograph of passport size and signature on the registration form.
  • Finally, it is recommended that applicants take several printouts of the application form for further use.

How to Fill the AILET 2023 Application Form? (Step by Step)

Step 1: AILET Registration

  1. Visit the Official website of AILET.
  2. Find and click on ‘Apply Online’ option.
  3. The applicant should fill out the details asked such as– Name, contact number, email ID of the candidate, parents’ name, address and date of birth.
  4. Once the applicant has filled put the application form,they should click on the Registration button.
  5. In the next step, the candidate be displayed a Application Locker page, whereby he or she has to confirm the details submitted in the previous step.

Step 2: Fill AILET Application Form

  1. The NLUs are listed and the applicant must select their preferred college from the list and just select “Click here to Apply.”
  2. Choose the course from the menu on the next page.
  3. Select the button “Apply Now.”
  4. Once you have been redirected to AILET online application form, you must fill in the form.

Step 3: Uploading Images

  1. Upload a colored passport-size photo recently clicked.
  2. The formats accepted are .bmp,.jpg and.gif.
  3. The photograph shall not be larger than 150 KBs.
  4. At least 75% of the photograph should have the person’s face.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  1. You can submit the application form fee online by credit card or debit card or even by net banking.
  2. The applicant must give card no., expiry date and CVV payment by means of a card.
  3. Net Banking applicants will be redirected to their respective bank’s website where the details of their account have been verified and the payment has been approved.

Application Fee:

  1. Students can submit the registration fee in both online and offline mode.
  2. Credit card, debit card or net banking is included in online payment.
  3. Applicants will be asked to deposit the money in the post office for offline mode.

AILET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, students must qualify AILET 2023 Eligibility guidelines:

AILET 2023 Exam Pattern

The AILET 2023 exam format and syllabus were changed for the BA LLB and LLM programmes in 2022. The subjects of Mathematics and Legal Reasoning have been eliminated from the BA LLB (Hons) AILET question paper, which now has three sections. The sectional weighting was affected, but the overall scores were unaffected. The current maximum weighting is 70 marks for the Logical Reasoning section, 50 for English Language, and 30 for the Current Affairs & GL section.

The BA LLB paper has 150 multiple-choice questions in total (carrying 1 mark per questions). For exam preparation, candidates must use the updated AILET syllabus 2023.

AILET 2023 Syllabus

English, Legal Awareness, Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics along with General Knowledge comprise the undergraduate entrance Syllabus.

  1. English: Reading Comprehension passages are based on Law themes along with grammar, vocabulary and verbal ability questions.
  2. Elementary Mathematics: Fundamental arithmetic skills are tested. Questions are framed around basic mathematical concepts and modern concepts as well.
  3. Logical Reasoning: Analytically comprehending situations and conclusions that are logically driven comprise this section.

AILET 2023 Admit Card

Within the fourth week of April 2023, the AILET Admit Card will be made available. It’ll be released via online mode on the official site. Students will be able to download admit card by entering their ID & password for registration.

All applicants will be asked to carry admit card at the exam centre. Applicants are recommended to carry one valid ID document along with an admit card in the examination hall as well.

How to download AILET admit card?

  • Step 1: Visit the NLU Delhi website at http://www.nludelhi.ac.in as the first step.
  • Step 2: In the second step, select the AILET Admissions button.
  • Step 3: Select “Already Registered? Login” from the menu.
  • Step 4: You will be taken to the login screen where you must enter the information below:
    • Application number
    • Password
  • Step 5: select the Login button.
  • Step 6: Open the AILET admit card, download it, save it, and print it.

AILET 2023 Answer Key

In the immediate aftermath of the examination, NLU Delhi will publish a provisional response key for AILET 2023. The NLUD AILET provisional answer key 2023 will provide the official answers to all questions raised at the online examination. Thus, an applicant may be able to compare his answers and his chances of admittance with those given in the answer key.

The response key of AILET 2023 can be found online on the university’s official site. There will also be measures to challenge the answer key of AILET 2023. After considering all the concerns, the university will publish the final response key for AILET 2023. Note that the final answer key can not be challenged and the answer included in the final and correct versions are consequently considered.


AILET 2023 Result

Following publication of AILET 2023’s final response key, the AILET 2023 result announcement will be made. AILET 2023 results will be published in online mode by the university. For the undergraduate and post-graduate law programmes, AILET 2023 results will be announced separately.

Details such as student’s name and roll number, sectional and overall marks and the qualification status will be included in the AILET result. Those applicants who qualify for AILET 2023 are eligible for subsequent admission processes such as counselling and assignment of seats.


AILET 2023 Merit List

For all qualified applicants, the AILET Merit List will be announced. It will be declared in rank & category wise. The institution will publish a merit list based on the cut-off marks.

A separate merit list will be released by NLU. it will contain all the information & other details about the applicants.


AILET 2023 Counselling

AILET Counseling will take place in the NLU campus, Delhi, via offline mode. After the declaration of the result it is organised by the authority.

The consultation process is compulsory for all qualified applicants. Once the counselling round has ended, authority will conduct counselling on the spot. For counselling session, applicants whose name is included in the merit list can appear.
