AIE Delhi Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

All the interested applicants must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for AIE Delhi Admission 2024 The detailed eligibility criteria for the exam is given below:

For B.Ed. Program:-

Educational Qualifications:

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities with at least 50% marks in aggregate
  OR
• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent degree with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate

For B.Ed. Special Education Programme:-

Educational Qualifications:

• Applicants having a Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities with a minimum aggregate of 55% are eligible to apply.
  OR
• Applicants having a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent degree with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 50% are also eligible to apply.
• The College strictly adheres to the norms of GGSIPU New Delhi for Admission Criteria & Course Content. GGSIPU New Delhi follows the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) guidelines for the B.Ed. Spl. Education programs for admissions and implementation.

Age Limit:

The applicants must not be above the age of 35 years as per GGSIPU New Delhi Admission norms.

Age Relaxations:

• The upper age limit may be relaxed up to a maximum of five years in exceptional cases by the Admission Officer (designated) of the concerned program if he/she is satisfied with the merit of the case.
• Candidates exceeding the upper age limit up to five years may provisionally apply/ appear in the Common Entrance Test. However, they would be required to satisfy the  Admission Officer an explanation regarding the gap period, i.e., the details of the period spent by him/her after passing the qualifying exam to justify the relaxation.
• Such an explanation should be in the form of written papers given to the concerned Admission Officer along with supporting documents (if any). Any relaxation of age beyond this shall be given by the Registrar of the University.
• The applicants desirous of applying for age relaxation should apply in writing to Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
