The following are the PhD in History criteria for eligibility for being accepted into a college that offers this course:
- Any aspiring candidates must have earned a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognized institution of higher learning after completing an M.Phil degree and a Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
