Bachelor of Vocational Studies, also known as Bachelor of Vocation, or simply BVoc, is a three-year undergraduate paraprofessional program designed for candidates who want to gain practical experience rather than theoretical knowledge in a particular field. The course differs from traditional academic programs in that it emphasizes application-based research rather than theoretical knowledge.
A variety of colleges and universities offer BVocs in a variety of disciplines. Medicare, Arts & Science, Management, Commerce (Banking Applications), Engineering, Computer and its Applications, Food Management, and many other major disciplines are covered in a BVoc degree.
One of the most significant advantages of pursuing a BVoc over a traditional degree program is that a candidate has multiple exit points and ongoing industry exposure. This means that if a candidate is unable to complete their BVoc course, he or she will still receive a diploma after completing the first year and an advanced diploma after completing the second year. Aside from that, the candidate’s work experience gained during the course increases their chances of landing the desired job.
