BHU UET: The BHU 2024 MBA Online Application Form will be made available soon. The exam conducted by Banaras Hindu University for selection to Undergraduate programs is called as Banaras Hindu University Entrance Test or BHU UET.

Applicants who wish to get admission into courses by the university, have to appear for the BHU UET exam for their respective course of choice. The examination will be conducted in the last week of May. Applicants can go to the official website of the university but the exam will be computer-based.

After the examination, applicants will undergo counseling and then will be offered admission into a course of their choice depending on their merit list that will be published in the starting week of July. Eligibility criteria before applying for the UET exam should be kept in consideration. What is BHU UET?

The University came into existence in 1916 and it offers higher education programs in various disciplines and levels like B.A., B.Sc., B.A.L.L.B, L.L.B, B.P.Ed, B.VSc., B.P.A., and B.F.A. with one of the biggest residential campuses not only in India but rest of the parts too. The BHU UET 2024 examination is for admission to various undergraduate courses of the Institute for the academic session of 2024. The examination mode is online with a multiple choice question format and a time duration of 120 to 150 minutes.

BHU UET 2024 Application Form

BHU UET is an entrance exam for law, engineering, arts aspirants conducted by Banaras Hindu University. The application form for this entrance test can only be filled in online mode and will be same for all the applicants. The application process consists of various stages that are mentioned down. The applicants must fill their adhar card details. The application form is limited to one course, in case of opting for an additional program the applicant is subjected to extra fees. How to fill BHU UET Application Form 2024?

Step 1 – Registration

  • Go to the official website of the university.
  • Enter the necessary details and valid Email address and phone number
  • Log in to fill up the application form with the registration credentials.
  • Valid code can be filled from the text sent to the registered phone number.

Step 2 – Filling up Identification Details

  • Applicants are required to fill their personal information for the documentation related to the identification. Adhar card number may be asked.
  • Applicants from states like Meghalaya, Assam and Jammu and Kashmir are exempted from filling Identification Form.

Step 3. Filling up the Application Form

  • The registration form requires applicants details that can be personal and academic based.

Step 4 – Uploading Documents

  • Scanned copies of signature and passport-sized photographs are to be uploaded with the prescribed format and specifications mentioned in the above context.
  • After filling all the required information and details, Go on the ‘Save and Proceed to Pay’ option.

Step 5 – Pay the application fee

  • Applicants need to opt for the mode of transaction.
  • Applicants can submit the admission form fees via online and offline mode.
  • Applicants opting for offline mode i.e challan can pay via any branch of HDFC bank

BHU UET 2024 Application Fee

The fee for online registrations is collected by means of the online transaction method and the second one by opting for the “Cash payment through HDFC Bank”.The application fees for the registration in undergraduate courses are given below in tabulation.

BHU UET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Banaras Hindu University, the conducting authority of the BHU UET entrance exam sets the eligibility criteria for the applicants. All criteria are to be checked and satisfied by the students before applying for the entrance test. Verification of the documents will be ongoing during the counseling process. Applicants are subjected to rejection, if the information provided by them during the application process, is inappropriate or correct.

The following point sums up the applicant’s eligibility criteria :

  • Applicants can appear for the entrance test if in the last year, provided they submit their qualifying examination score sheet at the time of counseling.
  • Those applicants who have been offered a course in BHU through the entrance examination in the past year and are admitted as students in semester one, can not appear for the entrance test for the same program again unless they are exclusively permitted by the concerned authority.
  • If the entrance examination score sheet is subjected to grading, the applicants are required to submit a certificate of conversion that will possibly be the conversion of grades into scores either by a conversion formula or a certificate that shows scored marks.
  • Consideration of all the Indian universities and the courses they offer.
  • Applicants can appear for multiple courses till the time dates of the opted course entrance examination do not coincide.

The eligibility condition for all the undergraduate program is detailed in the following points:

For BA. (Hons.) Arts and Social Sciences, BFA, For B.Voc

  • Standard XII (10+2) pass or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).
  • The applicant’s age should not exceed 22 years on July 01, 2024.

For B.Com (Hons.), B.Com (Hons.) Financial Markets Management

  • Standard XII (10+2) pass or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in commerce / economics / maths / computer science / finance / financial markets management / vocational subject.
  • The age should not exceed more than 22 years.

For B.Sc Hons (Bio and Maths Group)

  • Standard XII (10+2) pass or equivalent examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Zoology, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology, and Geography.
  • The above-mentioned three subjects are mandatory.
  • The applicants should have 22 years of age

For B.Sc Hons Ag / For B.Sc Hons Ag RGCS

  • Applicants should have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in all three subjects that includes PCM and any one of the subject Biology, Maths or Agriculture.
  • Applicants should be around 25 years of age as on July 01, 2024.

For Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry

  • For pursuing this program, the applicant should pass 10+2 in Science from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • Applicants should have scored at least 50% marks in all three and per subject wise as well. For SC / ST applicants, the relaxation of percentage is 40% in total and individual subject-wise as well.

Only for B.Ed. Course –Applicants having a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/Commerce, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 55% score.

Only for L.L.B Hons. in Bachelor of Laws Course – Applicants must have a B.A / B.Sc. / B.Com / Shastri Degree, with 50% score in the main subjects and can also be considered in case of recognition by BCI

Only for B.A. L.L.B Hons Course – General category applicants should have a minimum of 50% in their entrance exams, 45% for OBC candidates and 40% for SC & ST candidates.

Only for B.P.Ed Course – Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject but 50% marks in that are required.

BHU UET 2024 Answer Key

The provisional answer key is released and published by BHU before the declaration of results. This version of the answer key can be challenged on the website of BHU. The challenge window is kept open for three days from the date of review of BHU UET Answer Key. For every challenging question, a fee of 100 rupees is directed that can only be paid online via Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. If the challenging question is rightly put through, BHU returns all the changes and releases BHU UET final answer key.

  • Login to the page with your registered details

How to Challenge BHU UET Answer Keys?

The following points will help applicants to access it.

  • Go through the official site of BHU.
  • Go to “CBT (Computer Based Test Mode) Challenge”. 
  • One needs to log in using their roll number and password.
  • Put your claims saved for future reference on the challenged answer keys.
  • “Click Here to Pay Fee”, for every challenging question, a fee of 100 rupees is directed that can only be paid online.
  •  If the challenging question is rightly put through, BHU consolidates all the changes and the fee is refunded.

For candidates who have appeared for the PBT Mode exam:

  • Do check the official site of BHU
  • Go to “OMR (Pen-Paper Mode) Challenge”.
  •  Enter details on the login page that includes student email id, password, and captcha code.
  • Put a claim on the question you desired to challenge and click on “Save your claims”.
  • The fee has to be paid for every challenging question. 
  • If the challenged question ends up being correct, the fee is refunded.

Challenging BHU answer key:  In case of discrepancy, the applicant has a right to challenge the answer key as offered by BHU. The final result is subjected to and reviewed by the expert(s) of the University after all the claims that were raised by the candidates by using the online portal. Claims are not accepted via email or post. The final answer key is released after all the changes.

Challenge fee: Rs.100/- (one hundred only) to be paid using any mode of transaction i.e Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking.


BHU UET 2024 Result

After the result announcement, the cut-off list is published category-wise. Applicants can go through the merit list on the official site of the university. Allotment of courses is limited only to the score secured in the qualifying exam and the involvement of the applicants in the rest of the processes devised by the university considering the eligibility. Applicants can further wait for the next cut-off that will be available on their official site.

The minimum score accepted for all the categories is subjected below:

  • For candidates belonging to General/OBC categories: Minimum of 35% of the total marks obtained by the highest scorer in the examination of the opted course.
  • For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories: Minimum of 25% of the total marks obtained by the highest scorer in the examination of the opted course.
  • For MPA/BPA and MFA/BFA courses: A minimum of 35% to be scored in the theory exam and 45% to be scored in the practical exam by the highest scorer in the examination of the opted course. The Merit is based on the sum of the two scores. The cumulative scores i.e( marks score in the theory paper and the score in the practical test) are the basis of the merit distribution.
  • For B.P.Ed. course: Minimum of 35% (in the theory paper) and 45% (in the physical test) of the marks scored by the highest scorer in the examination of the opted course. The cumulative scores i.e( marks score in the theory paper and the score in the physical test and bonus marks for any sports achievement) are the basis of the merit distribution.

The entrance examination marking scheme is in followed points.

  1. +3 for every right answer
  2. -1 marks for an incorrect answer(negative marking)
  3. no marks for blank response

How to check BHU UET Results?

Applicants can check their respective results through the following procedure.

  • Visit the official website of the university.
  • Type in and submit the login credentials.
  • Log in requires a valid email and contact number.
  • On the screen, results will be displayed.
  • Keep the copy of your scores for future reference if your name is on the merit list because you will be receiving a call letter.


BHU UET Cut Off 2024

BHU UET 2024 cut-off and counseling dates will be released after the results are out. The minimum qualifying marks applicants need to secure in order to clear the examination accounts for the cut-off list. The applicants are bound to meet the BHU UET cut-off requirement for them to be eligible for the counseling. The procedure of counseling involves the merit list and applicants are being called based on their merit and availability of seats in the respective department. Applicants need to carry call letters and all the documents required (verified and original) to the process of counseling. Considering the counseling procedure of last year, the compilation is in three phases.

STEP 1: Online Preference Entry

  1.  Applicants qualified for admission are required to fill up an online ‘Preference Entry Form’ that
  2. Fill the choice, of course, you want to enroll in and all the sections of the online preference form should be filled. If any section is found blank, it will be assumed that the applicant has a lack of interest for that matter. Revaluation can be done later. Admission on paid seats is only done once the seat allotment of merit list is completed.

STEP 2: Activity on the Counselling day

  1. Subject to reporting, the applicant should be there at the given time and date mentioned in the call letter.
  2. Visit the counseling cell or Venue In-charge and mark your attendance by signing on the attendance sheet.
  3. Discuss the programs available, combinations of subjects that work for you with your teachers and the locations, fee structures, availability of hostels etc. If your choice of preference isn’t up there then you can ask for the subject of change in preference in step 2. Seats are given only on the basis of merit or score list only.
  4. The Admission letter will include the course and if the admission is allotted on a provisional basis, the provisional admission needs to be collected from the counselling center at 10:00 am sharp.   
  5. The fee can be submitted via online payment through credit card/ debit card or Payment of Fee in cash at the office for all the courses and additional fees for multiple courses.

STEP 3: Activity on the next Counselling date

Applicants need to submit the proof of payment of registration fees to the Counselling In-charge within 04:00 pm (the transaction is made offline). Late submission of fees will account for disinterest in taking the admission.

Documents Required

  • School leaving certificate
  • Migration Certificate in all the cases but bonafide students of BHU is exempted from it.
  • Class X marks sheet and qualifying certificate
  • Class XII marks sheet and qualifying certificate
  • Score sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
  • UET Admit Card downloaded from the official site
  • SC/ST/OBC Certificate for claiming the community reservation
  • Certificate(s) for reservation in ‘Sports Seats’ quota
  • Children of employs ex and present both get management quota in BHU but certificates and proof are required during the counselling process.
