Do not overdo subjects and topic, study enough and make sure you cover all the textbook questions from NCERT books.
Basics Should Be Clear
The most important thing is to clear your basics from the very beginning. Basics are what make your subjects better.

General Knowledge and English Subject
English is really important. You must be fluent in writing as well as speaking English.
English is not only asked in written test but also it is required in the personal interview.
Focus on basics first like English grammar. You need to know the littlest thing about the English grammar like tenses, articles, errors, verbs etc. Many students are well aware with the comprehension writing but are weak in the part of grammar. You can take English coachings but it is not that necessary.
If you focus on books like Oxford English Grammar Just for You, you will learn all the required details about the English grammar.
For GK, stay well aware with the current affairs and do watch news and read newspapers and magazines on a daily basis. Improve your GK by reading about India’s geographical system. Learn about the rivers and valleys, states and continents, cities and towns etc.
Study Material
Prepare from the right books. Search the NDA syllabus and check the books which match the correct syllabus. You can choose different books for different subjects, or you can search for the books which offer the entire syllabus in a single book.
Remember to choose the books which offer previous year question papers and mock tests.
Browse online and collect as many question paper from previous years as you can. Solve them without looking for the answers first. Take mock tests and solve different assignments.
It will help you in acknowledging the syllabus and exam pattern. You will be aware of the types of questions asked in the exams. Make sure to focus on your pace. With time, increase your practice and try to solve the papers as fast as you can so that you will have time to revise at the end.
Health Maintenance and Personality
As everybody is aware, NDA admissions are entirely based on the personal interview. They check your physical skills. You need to keep yourself fit and active.
Exercise on a regular basis. Eat right and take protein and give at least an hour to exercise daily. Make a diet chart or contact a dietician for the right and healthy food items.
