Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is the full name of the commission. It is in charge of conducting numerous exams for recruitment in offices across the state throughout the year. APPSC Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for each post in each group are very specific and distinct from one another. We’ve provided specifications based on groups and posts in this section.

Nationality 

For all groups and posts, the requirements for nationality and residence are the same. As a result, all applicants can examine the following points.

  • Applicants who are interested in taking the APPSC Group 1 exam must be Indian citizens.
  • In addition, eligible candidates must be from the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligible Age Groups

The age requirements for various groups and positions vary. As a result, we’ve separated them.

Age Requirements for Group I

Educational Qualification

Treasury & Accounts ServiceEligible applicants must hold a degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Commerce from a UGC-accredited university with a minimum grade of 2nd in the subject. Aside from that, applicants may be Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom or India, or incorporated Accountants (London).
District Social Welfare Officer in A.P. Social Welfare ServiceApplicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from an affiliated Indian university or from a University Grants Commission-affiliated institution under the Central Act, State Act, or Provincial Act. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in social work or sociology are also eligible to apply for this position.

APPSC Application Process 2024

The registration process is the same for all APPSC exams. The forms are only available on the official website, and there are no other options.

  • Applicants must fill out the APPSC online application form to register their names.
  • Aspirants must go to psp.ap.gov.in, which is the APPSC’s official website.
  • Students must now go to the APPSC homepage and click on the ‘Andhra Pradesh PSC Application Form.’
  • The applicants must then fill out the form with the necessary information.
  • Applicants must upload a scanned image of their photograph and signature after completing the application form.
  • You can now fill out the APPSC online application form 2024.
  • Finally, in order to complete the online application form filling process, you must submit the application fees.

APPSC Admit Card 2024

The Commission publishes admit cards for all four groups on its official website, and the procedure for downloading them is the same for all four groups. The steps to download the APPSC Group 1 admit cards are listed below. Candidates can use these steps for other purposes as well.

How to Download APPSC Admit Card?

  • APPSC’s official website can be found at psc.ap.gov.in.
  • Click on the “APPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket” link. Enter your user name and password for logging in.
  • Download the Group 1 Service Center Ticket by clicking on the “Download Group 1 Service Center Ticket” link.
  • Examine the information on the hall ticket.
  • Download a copy for yourself to keep.

Discrepancy in the Admit Card

The APPSC admit cards reflect the applicants’ and committee’s official records. Because there is no manual intervention in the preparation of the APPSC admit cards, there are very few differences in the details mentioned in the admit cards.

In the event that there is a discrepancy on the APPSC Hall Ticket, the applicants must immediately notify the commission and take the necessary steps to correct the errors.

APPSC Group 1 Selection Process

The APPSC Group 1 2024 Examination will be selected through three stages of rounds. Applicants should look over old APPSC question papers to learn more about the two exams.

Stage 1: APPSC Group 1 Prelims (Screening) Test

The screening exam will be held in 13 Andhra Pradesh districts. The APPSC Group 1 admit card will be available seven days prior to the exam. The APPSC Group 1 Prelims exam score, however, will not be taken into account in the final merit list. Only this score will be taken into account for the second round of the exam.

Stage 2: APPSC Group 1 Main Exam

This is a conventional exam that will be administered in a paper-and-pencil format. For the purpose of preparing the merit list, the Main exam score will be used. Applicants will be required to respond to seven traditional essay-style questions.

Stage 3: APPSC Group 1 Interview

The exam will be held to the commission’s office in Vijaywada for the final round. Applicants must submit the following original documents in order to sit for the exam:

APPSC 2024 Answer Key

Before the results are released, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission releases the answer keys for all of the exams. They’re available on the official website and can be checked in the same way that admit cards were. Candidates can compare their answers to the ones released by the Commission to get a sense of their overall score.

Any applicant who finds an incorrect answer in the official answer key has the right to object. They must email their registration number, name, question number, and representation of the answer from their registered email address. They must be able to articulate their objection properly. The Commission mentions other details about the answer key and how to object in the answer key notice.


APPSC 2024 Result

The results of all the exams are released in three stages by the APPSC: Prelims, Mains, and Final. The first two results are released following the completion of the respective rounds of exams, while the third is released following the completion of the Interview and Document Verification. The Final Result is used to make the final selection of applicants.

  • Visit the APPSC’s official website at psc.ap.gov.in.
  • Locate and select the APPSC Result notification.
  • Choose the link for your group from the list of options.
  • A new window will appear, asking for your registration number.
  • The PDF of your result will appear on the screen after you enter your registration number.
  • Save the PDF file to your computer.
  • Make a copy for yourself to keep for future reference.
